Start by looking around your house and noticing how many single use plastic containers you go through. Next pick one item that you would consider refilling on a consistent basis. You might start with laundry detergent or shampoo. Find us. Bring your container and choose the product you want to refill. It really is that easy!

You also might consider starting with a room. Try the kitchen. Refill your automatic dish washing soap, dish soap, counter cleaner and glass cleaner. Now you have eliminated 5 single use containers.

Next, try buying soap that does not have wrapping or if you have a pet purchasing a dog soap bar. No container at all. Not only have you eliminated plastic, but extra garbage with the wrapping.

There are very creative ways to become a Refill Warrior - and you probably do some already when you refill your water bottle.
